JSC TAEKWONDO has an elite Demonstration Team who performs throughout the community.
The Demonstration Team has a choreographed routine, to music, demonstrating the disciplined
skills of Taekwondo students.
Taekwondo is considered an individualized activity and the Demonstration Team teaches students
to work with others as a unit.
The Demonstration Team schedules approximately one performance per testing cycle.
These performances take place at certain Taekwondo testing and tournaments, schools,
business events, athletic events, and other community organizations that request a performance.
Because the team performs outside the school, it is a great opportunity for students to show off
their abilities.
Students are eligible to join after they have reached the rank of Red Belt and are committed throughout
each testing cycle.
New additions are only taken the week after promotional testing.
It will be assumed current team members will still be on the Demo Team unless the school is notified.
Schedule for Demo Team practices will be given week after testing and posted in the back of the classroom.
Student must notify the school of a missed practice or risk losing position on the team for that cycle.
Students are reminded participation with the Demo Teamis not required for advancement in rank.
